Summer

Reasons why summer vacation is awesome:

1.  I get to sleep into until 6:30 every morning (yes, that's sleeping in).
2.  I get to be home with my pup.  We take a nice long walk in the morning when everything is sleepy and quiet.
3.  I lay out in the afternoon.  Sunshine makes tanning free!
4.  I can go the gym in the morning instead of in the evenings after school.
5.  I have made 6 (and counting!) new recipes since school got out 2.5 weeks ago.  It's more fun to try new things when you haven't been at work all day.
6.  My house is slowing getting spotless.  All those tasks I had been putting off are getting checked off one-by-one.
7.  I can be a crafting fool again (an update on my recent projects are coming).
8.  Vacation!

Yeah, I know, not everyone gets a summer vacation (sorrynotsorry).  But, I have to say - this is the number one reason why being a teacher is absolutely amazing :D
