One year ago today we lost our first babe.
I honestly can't believe it's been a whole year. At that time I couldn't imagine being where we are now. Although I am so incredibly happy to be pregnant again (and to be at this point in my pregnancy) I still mourn the loss of that baby.
I'm sad that I never got to watching my body grow with that baby. That I never got to feel that little one moving inside me. That we'll never get to hold that little one in our arms.
I am lucky and blessed to be carrying this little one. But, today I'm taking a moment to remember the one that came before.
