Today is CD11. My first monitoring appointment was this morning.
He said my lining looked good (I forgot to ask what it was). My left side had tiny follicles, but my right side (didn't I predict righty would go big this cycle?!) had a 22 and 24mm follicles. He said, given the size of both, he thought I would likely O tomorrow.
Given that information, it's obviously too late to trigger. He said we could do an IUI tomorrow morning, but he felt like we would have just as good a chance doing timed intercourse at home. I'm hesitant not doing the IUI, but I do trust him, so I'm going to go with it this cycle. He said I responded great, and Letrozole doesn't affect CM as much as Clomid, so he thought this was our best course of action. And one that also saves us almost $500 (no trigger or IUI), so I can't say I'm upset about that. And I have absolutely nothing ready for school tomorrow, so that would another obstacle to overcome, were I to take a sick day for the IUI.
So the long and short of it is we're banging it out at home and hoping for the best.
Unfortunately, I haven't been temping or using OPKs this cycle. I know I'll feel more comfortable confirming ovulation, so hopefully it's not too late to pick it up this cycle. Guess we'll see what the next couple days bring.
In WW news, I lost another 1.2 pounds this week. That makes 8.4 in total. I'm not at my goal yet, but I'm definitely moving in the right direction.
This all sounds good! Best of luck, Sun!
