CD 3

My period started on Saturday.  We were in Chicago, visiting my brother, SIL, and nephew.  I knew it was coming, but still.  It's always a disappointment.  I am grateful, however, that I had family around to distract me from getting into my own head.  That and wine.  Seriously. 

I had put in a call to the RE's office over the weekend and my super nurse called back today.  The plan is still Letrozole CD3-7 and (hopefully) trigger and IUI to follow.  My monitoring appointment is next Monday the 17th. 

In other news, I finally got to meet one of the lovely ladies from TB!  While I was up in Chicago land, I had a couple free hours in the afternoon (nephew was napping and my mom and brother decided to play racquetball).  So, I sent her a message and she offered to let me come over.  I got to meet her, her adorable daughter, and her pup.  It was awesome finally getting to meet an online friend in real-life.  And although we'll always been "fake" friends, it was lovely putting a face to the name. :)

And lastly, my WW update:  Last week I gained a pound (boo!), but I was pretty sure it was related to my impending period (I usually gain or don't lose much the weigh-in immediately before the start of my period).  But, this morning, I'm down 2.4 pounds!  That seems about right considering my gain last week.  That puts my ultimate total at 10.4 pounds in 9 weeks.  I'll definitely take it.  Am I sad it's the weight isn't falling off?  Yes.  But, logically I know I'm losing at a reasonable rate (about a pound a week).  How can I complain about that?   And anyway, I'm halfway to my goal.  That is definitely something to celebrate.
