Just waiting until my first u/s on Monday. Still seems weird that my period won't be coming (hopefully soon I'll get to the point where I'm not checking every time I go to the restroom). I think it's my IF brain that keeps thinking this is too good to be true. When you work, hope, pray and wish for something for so long, it's so surreal when it finally happens.
Other than that, not much else to report. I'm pretty exhausted, but from what I've read, that's pretty common in early pregnancy. We're talking sleeping 9+ hours a night and still needing at least an hour nap every afternoon.
Oh, and my hairdresser now knows I'm pregnant. Actually, I didn't say anything to her. I walked in her salon and the first thing she says to me is, "You're pregnant!". I paused and said, "What do you mean?" and she said, "Don't bother denying it, you are, I can just tell." H laughed when I told him (we have agreed not to tell people until after the first u/s, but it's not like I told her, she told me!). He said that I just have an look about me now. That I'm happier and just look calmer.
I guess it's true - I am pretty damn happy.
Hahahaha your hairdresser needs to be psychic or something. That's crazy!
ReplyDelete<3 So happy for you!
ReplyDeleteThat makes my little black heart happy :-)
ReplyDeleteLOLOL. Your hairdresser is too funny. Can I get her number, maybe she'll tell me I'm pregnant next! :P I can't wait for Monday!

ReplyDeleteLOL! Nice.
ReplyDeleteThe being tired thing will be constant through out 1st tri (or if you're me, your entire pregnancy LOL)I have never taken so many naps, gone to bed so early, or slept in so late in my entire life. It's crazy!
