Gummy Bear!

Yesterday I had another appointment with the RE (at 9w4d).  What a difference a couple weeks make!  Take a look:

Our little olive actually looks like a real baby.  Little arm/leg buds and all.  Gah!  I am so in love.  I've also been able to find the heartbeat at home almost everyday.  It is the most beautiful sound I've ever heard and I honestly can't get enough.

I spent the majority of this week in Chicago watching my adorable nephew.  I'm obviously biased, but he is seriously the cutest 10 month old I've ever seen.  I was a bit aprenhesive about watching him by myself, but honestly, it went great.  I kept him happy, fed, changed, and on schedule.  We even got out to the local parks and to the local icecream joint.  I consider it a pretty sucessful week.  It was also awesome giving my brother/SIL time to get away while they were searching for a new place to live (my brother recently accepted a new job out of state).

Ok, enough talking.  Time for the adorableness that is my nephew:

Seriously this kid is the best.  I am lucky to be his aunt.

Things are just cruising along.  Before becoming pregnant I was anxious my PgAL brain would be on more.  But it really hasn't.  I feel confident in this pregnancy.  And hearing the heartbeat really helps keep my fears at bay.  We're taking it one day at a time, but I think we're in this for the long haul.

Life is good :D
