I had already taken the day off from school. I could have taken a half day (going into work at 11:15), but I didn't want to worry about anything but the IUI today. Well, mother nature decided to dump a bunch of snow our our heads this morning, so we ended up with a snow day. Good because I get to keep that sick day, bad because the roads were crap. It took a little longer to get the RE's office than normal, but I made it, sample in hand...er, under shirt. They washed H's sample, turkey basted me up, and we're all set to go.
I took a pic of H's numbers. The top numbers are the initial specimen, bottom numbers are the post-wash counts. Sorry for the crappy phone photo.
I couldn't be happier with our numbers this cycle. H is always so smug about his "awesomeness". All I care about is those swimmers doing their thing. Go little guys, go!
In an effort to be honest in documenting this journey, I took a pic of my "battle wound" from the Orvidrel yesterday. It feels like a big step to put a pic of my bare tummy on the interwebs for all to see (remember I'm still 16 pounds away from my goal!), but if this does turn out to be our cycle, I want to remember all of it. The good, the bad, and the squishy tummy (including tiny trigger shot bruise).
So now we wait. I'll be testing out my trigger (seriously, what else can I do with the all the HPTs I've accumulated?). It's been a long road, but today I am hopeful. I know we've done everything we can this cycle to give ourselves the best possible odds.
Hopefully the next two weeks fly by.

Wishing you the best of the luck!!
