It's no lie. I struggle with my weight. I'm never going to be a tiny thing, it's just not in the cards for me. But, when I watch what I eat and exercise, I can get to a healthy for me weight. The last year I've thrown caution to the wind, let the TTC process be my excuse, and ate whatever I wanted. Oh, and drank like a fish on the weekends.
So, my ass got bigger.
Finally I decided enough was enough. I got back on the Weight Watchers train and actually started charting again. This was the beginning of February. February and March was an up and down roller coaster. I'd lose, but gain it back, I'd lose, but then stay the same. I began to see a pattern of good habits during the week, but all hell breaking loose over the weekend.
So, I reevaluated, decided to get serious (yes, again) for April. Since then, I have diligently been tracking everything I'm eating (even alcohol). And you know what? It's working. This morning I was finally able to button my jeans again. No hairband required! (If you're someone who's ever struggled with your weight, you'll understand the reference). My jeans fit me again. Booyah!
Today is a good day.
Yay! Keep up the good work! I totally understand how easy it is to ignore what you're eating (and drinking!) when TTC takes over. Glad you're back on track!
