Almost There!

Only two more school days until Thanksgiving break.  Then five glorious days off.  Sometimes I really love being a teacher.  This is one of those times.

And even though this weekend is almost over, it was a pretty good one.  Friday night we went up to have dinner with my parents and a few of their friends.  My parents rock.  That's pretty much all there is to it.  We had dinner and then went back to their place for tequila shots.  Yeah, they're those kind of people ;)  Saturday we went back to our hometown (DH and I grew up in the same town) for the annual Christmas festival.  I got to have my hometown ice cream, kettle corn, and hometown pizza.  My waistline maybe be complaining, but I certainly didn't.  Yum!  Then, today I met up with a girlfriend and we went to see Twilight, Breaking Dawn, Part 2.  (Why yes, I am a squealing teenage girl).  Judge away if you must, but I loved the books and loved the movies.  What can I say?  I'm a sucker for good romance.

On the TTGP front, we're still over a week out from anything.  My cycles tend to run about 35 days, so O typically doesn't happen until around CD 20.  Even if it happens early like last month, we're still talking the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.  At least it means we don't have to run home and hump it out with all the family stuff later this week.  And I'll get to enjoy a big ol' glass of wine with dinner.
