How far along: 14 weeks
Baby is the size of a: Lemon. Yum. I love, love, love lemons. It makes me happy thinking of a little lemon swimming around in there. Baby is about 3.4 inches and weighs about 1.5 oz.Maternity clothes: No, but normal clothes are getting tight. Being in Canada last week I wore I few more fitted shorts/jeans. Definitely had to resort to the hairband trick. I'm not quite ready to invest in maternity wear, so I think I might buy a few shirts up a size and make do with the shorts/pants for the time being. There will be plenty of time for maternity clothes when I head back to school.
Stretch marks: Nothing new.
Sleep: Have I mentioned that I love sleep? Seriously. I'm sleeping in later most mornings and still needing a nap in the afternoon. Although, I can't say my sleep at night is continuous. I wake up at least once on my own and once because H is snoring/ turning over in his sleep.
Symptoms: Not much this week. I am noticing my ute feels crampy if I sleep on my stomach too long. Wonder how long I'll be able to keep it up.
Best moment of the week: Being in Canada all last week and telling my whole family. My grandma cried she was so happy. It also feels good being "out" about this pregnancy. We're going live on FB later this week!
Miss anything: This was the first week I missed alcohol. Being up in Canada there is nothing better than coming off a long day on the water and having an ice cold beer. I won't lie. I was a bit jealous.
Movement: Not yet. But now I imagine every twinge and ache in my ute is baby saying, "hi".
Cravings/aversions: Actually I think I'm past the fruit thing. Had a big bowl of raspberries/blueberries yesterday and it was pretty tasty. Not craving anything specific this week.
Belly button in or out? In.
Sex: I'm hoping girl this week. H and I were tossing around names while on vacation. It made this whole thing seem more real. Really digging our girl names, so I'm hoping we'll get to use one of them.
Mood: Happy, relaxed. And pretty darn excited to officially be in the second trimester!
